“Health for all” is a goal that we have set out for ourselves to achieve. This is both a huge challenge and is basic to the growth and development of the country. While the government is setting out programmes like the National Rural Health Mission to achieve the larger goal it cannot definitely take big strides without the participation of the large private sector which accounts for over 85% of the health services in the country. A number of experiments that have been tried out at the community level to improve health services are available. But what are the pros and cons of these experiments? Are they replicable? Are they scalable? Do you have an experience to share with people who are working in the field of health?
HOSMAC Foundation invites you to send in your contribution by way of your thoughts, interesting news items in the field of health, case studies, articles, interesting readings that you recommend, websites that you have found useful. Let’s build a community that learns and grows together. We will be using this space to discuss and deliberate on issues.
