HOSMAC Foundation is a non-profit organization, registered in 2005, affiliated to HOSMAC India Pvt Ltd, a healthcare consultancy firm. The vision of the Foundation is to building a networked and sustainable healthcare community by providing innovative solutions to address critical issues in the domain of healthcare. HOSMAC Foundation overtly focuses on improving the healthcare delivery system by making pertinent contributions in the domain of capacity building, knowledge sharing and community empowerment.

The main activity of the organization includes developing the “skill-set” of the work-force to deal with to a plethora of issues pertaining to healthcare. The HOSMAC Foundation is associated with prestigious educational institutions like Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Symbiosis Institute of Health Management, International Institute of Health Management and Research, Jaipur, etc. HOSMAC Foundation also organizes and manages a part time course for Diploma in Healthcare Administration, in collaboration with PESIT, Bangalore. The Foundation has also been involved in organizing short term training on topics like ISO in healthcare, critical care management, etc.

HOSMAC Foundation is actively involved in Research and Documentation, imperative for enhancing knowledge and promoting ideas. The Foundation has initiated research in different domains pertaining to healthcare and hospital segment, on several topics.

HOSMAC Foundation, under the banner of “HOSMAC KNOWLEGDE FORUM” is actively involved in dissemination of information among the healthcare community, through its Publications, Periodicals, and National Level Seminars organized across the country, to provide an platform to discuss and deliberate upon issues affecting the contemporary healthcare delivery system.

HOSMAC Foundation, as a part of its grass-root level activities, has partnered with grass-root level NGO partners to implement cost-effective, need-based and sustainable solution for healthcare, which may further be replicated across the country. The Foundation provides these grass-root level NGOs with technical guidance and skills and also collaborates with these NGOs to identify other partners, committed to social development.
